What age groups do you cater for?

We would love to welcome you to the mat! At Addington Judo Club, we cater to all age groups starting from age 5 and up.

Whether you are looking for classes for kids, youth, or adults, our sessions are designed to be inclusive and fun for everyone. We even offer a free first session, so feel free to come along, meet the team, and give judo a try—you have nothing to lose!

Are your coaches experienced in competitive judo?

Yes, the coaches at Addington Judo Club are highly experienced in competitive judo. The team is led by senior black belts (including 4th and 6th Dans) who have decades of experience and have won medals at all levels of the sport. They offer specialized competition training sessions to help members succeed in everything from local tournaments to international events.

Do your members attend competitions?

The club is very active in the competitive circuit, with members attending a wide range of events, from local club invitationals to national and international tournaments. To support this, the club holds dedicated competition training sessions specifically designed to help judoka refine their techniques and strategy for the mat.
