I used to bring my son to AJC ten years ago as a primary. After a few years of kickboxing, I wanted to find a new club closer to home and came back to AJC to learn Judo. Great club. Very welcoming. As a 40yr old newcomer to the sport I have found everyone very supportive, going out of their way to share knowledge. Plenty of people at all levels of experience. Only club I have found where adults and kids train at the same time so I can train same time as my sons, which is a great time saver.

i joined this club 7 years ago , and it’s a very welcoming and friendly environment that’s treats every student with respect and builds like a family. the club and sport is very good for both children from 5 and all the way up to adults of any age. the coaching is excellent and teaches all not only self defence but also discipline aswell as creating a great environment for socialising. it’s also enjoyable and help build self esteem and confidence within an individual,so if your thinking of joining give it a try and see how you get on.

After starting Judo at the end 2023 I was looking for a new club to do a second class a week, and hands down this is the best one I've attended! Gareth and the other instructors are very welcoming and extremely knowledgeable creating a friendly and fun atmosphere for the club. The classes are well structured and very informative. I will definitely be back for more.
