Juniors (10-16Yrs)
Youth and young adults doing judo experience significant physical, mental, and social benefits, including improved strength, coordination, and fitness. Judo also fosters discipline, respect, and self-confidence, while teaching valuable self-defence skills in a structured environment. Additionally, it can lead to a better understanding of healthy lifestyle choices and stress management.
Class Days/Times
Juniors is a wonderful age to teach judo, here we can work on slightly more advanced techniques and push the young adult into unlocking their full potential to whatever they would want that to be, Addington Judo Club is committed to getting these open minds off of the streets and computers and into an exciting sport/art that can really challenge both their physical and mental limit.
Tuesday/Thursday 20:10-21:15
Mixed in with the adults here (Seniors) the class is tailored to all, Fundamental judo essentials and more are part of the class taught in a relaxed atmosphere to help young minds focus.
Tuesday’s 21:15-21:45
for the more competition orientated and advanced youth we can stay on for an extra half an hour to really fine tune some of the more testing of our techniques.
Thursday’s 21:15-21:30
Hit the circuits and test your fitness and strength, 15 stations at 45sec each, Push ups, Sit Ups, Battle ropes and Medicine balls to name a few. Your parents are more than welcome to join us if the numbers are not too full.
