Addington Judo Club is a community‑focused, non‑profit club with a proud history stretching back to 1954, when it first opened in the main hall of the A.C.A. It remained there until the sports hall was built alongside in 1990; after moving around the estate, we found our permanent home at New Addington Leisure & Community Centre. As of October 2026, we hold a 5‑star rating based on 46+ Google reviews, reflecting the warm, supportive environment valued by all our members and families.

 Our Story & Facilities

Founded in 1954 at the A.C.A, we moved to the new sports hall in 1990, then settled at our current home — New Addington Leisure Centre. Following the arrival of 32 new mats, our training space has grown to 224 m² of dedicated judo mat area — giving everyone even more room to train, learn, and grow!
